The following test cases are available for execution in Test Executive, but issues with the Keysight Command Line Packet Generator (CLPG) FPGA may affect the test results or instrument functionality:
FPGA 6.20.1033 image 90CA 5-27-2016
Test Case | Issue |
1.1.10 | The Data Generator FPGA image needs to be reloaded after running this test case because of a defect in the FPGA (see below). |
2.3.1 | Sometime the Data Generator does not correctly acknowledge the first TC0 frame before sending the NAC, in this case both data frames are replayed. |
The following FPGA issues are still seen on very rare occasions, For these test cases just rebooting the the Data Generator twice often works to clear the issue.
Test Case | Issue |
2.5.1 | Data Generator does not correctly replace an AFC with a NAC, sometimes the CLPG sends an AFC for all the sent frames or some of the sent frames. It should NAC all sent frames. |
2.5.2 | Sometimes the Data Generator does not send the correct AFCs with the correct credit values. The Data Generator needs to be reloaded after running this test case (see below). |
2.5.4 | Sometimes the Data Generator does not send the correct AFCs with the correct credit values. The Data Generator needs to be reloaded after running this test case (see below). |
To reload the Data Generator FPGA:
- In the Setup -> Connection Setup tab change the link mode from Data Gen. + Analyzer to Analyzer, press apply
- Then change the link mode from Analyzer back to Data Gen. + Analyzer, press apply
- In the Analyzer Setup tab, press Sync Analyzer to Link Configuration, press OK
